Habe gerade die folgende Mail bekommen. Muss jetzt erstmal eine Runde laufen gehen und sacken lassen. Ich kann's nicht glauben. Ein Traum wird wahr!
Thank you for submitting your request to participate in the 2014 Boston Marathon. The Boston Athletic Association, organizer of the Boston Marathon®, has issued a limited number of invitational entries for the 2014 Boston Marathon for those who were most impacted by the events of April 15, 2013.
Upon careful review by a committee from the B.A.A., your request has been accepted.
Due to the large number of submissions received, not all who submitted a request were able to be granted access to run in next year's race. As with yours, many who submitted a request provided thoughtful and compelling accounts of their experiences last April. Please be assured that the committee needed to make many difficult decisions during its review, and the B.A.A. is pleased to be able to extend to you an invitation to run in next year's race.
We know how deeply people feel about their reactions to what happened last April. We appreciate your request and your support of the strength that has been displayed by so many following last spring's Boston Marathon. That strength is something that we will continue to honor in the months ahead.Those who accept this invitational entry into the 2014 Boston Marathon must abide by the following criteria:
This invitational entry is valid only for the 2014 Boston Marathon;
The invitational entry must be used by the individual who submitted the request, and the entry may not be transferred to another person, another year, or another B.A.A. event;
andThe invitational entry fee of $325 USD is required.
Your entry form will be mailed on December 6 to the address you provided at the time you submitted your entry. Deadline for submitting your entry to the B.A.A. is January 31, 2014. Any questions related to these entries should be sent email@example.com.
Good luck with your training.
